Why does the world need Esbat?

I am glad you asked.

I (that is me, Daniella Sorrentino) have been working as a video and content producer for the past 15 years. Initially working with non-profits, then to working with advertising agencies, and then back to non-profits again. But, in the past couple of years I noticed that, for the most part, I want to talk people out of making videos. Video has become the must-have content, so everyone is producing video, we are bombarded daily with so much media we cannot possibly take it all in. Our mental, physical, and digital spaces are polluted with garbage-media.

So, why the hell am I making more?

As I was standing on the brink of my existential angst, about to throw my camera in the void and never pick up a mic again. I thought what does this world need, if not more media?? The answer was obvious.

The World Needs More Witchcraft:

The world needs more people who believe that consciousness is present in everything. The the universe itself is divine, and we are divine for being part of it. We need people who believe that the earth, our home, our mother is sacred. We need people who believe in kindness, respect, and magic, lots and lots of magic.

I am a film-maker, a writer, a producer, essentially a multi-media creator. I love working with media, I am a priestess of Mercury, he is my muse. I can help put more magic in to the world by making films, and podcasts and writing about magic. I am a producer, I can also help other people make content about magic and witchcraft.

When I look back, this is what I have always wanted to do, but, when I started making films I got so hung up listening to the advice of others on how to have a film career, and listening to everyone tell me how impossible making films for the small, niche market of witches would be (to be fair it was before digital film-making and distribution) and I believed them.
