Promoting Witchcraft Through Education
The mission of Esbat.TV is to promote the study and practice of magic and witchcraft. One of the best ways in which we can do that is sharing our knowledge, and teaching what we know. The first courses we will be offering through Esbat are partnerships with the 13th House Mystery School for the Introduction to Witchcraft Classes, and with 13th House founder and priestess Alison Skelton for an Introduction to the Major Arcana.
Introduction to the Major Arcana
The Tarot, as a tool for creative consciousness, contains a wealth of wisdom, and is as vast and layered a form of communication as any of the Arts. Through symbols and metaphoric imagery of Tarot we can decipher and reveal clear messages that inform and assist in the navigation of our evolving consciousness.
Introduction to Witchcraft
The six class course introduces students to fundamental aspects of the craft including; the wheel of the year (the witch’s calendar), essential beliefs, values, and principles, creating sacred space, ritual-design and conduct, spell-crafting and the art and science of lunar magic.

An Introduction to Witchcraft:
The 13th House Mystery School has been offering its Introduction to Witchcraft course since 1992. The six class course introduces students to fundamental aspects of the craft including; the wheel of the year (the witch’s calendar), essential beliefs, values, and principles, creating sacred space, ritual-design and conduct, spell-crafting and the art and science of lunar magic. Through the pandemic the course was offered over Zoom, this expanded options for students who could now take the program remotely, and brought up the possibiltiy of developing a recorded class for those interested in studying with us who could not make remote Zoom classes due to time-zones, or other reasons.

The Major Arcana:
The Tarot, as a tool for creative consciousness, contains a wealth of wisdom, and is as vast and layered a form of communication as any of the Arts. Through symbols and metaphoric imagery of Tarot we can decipher and reveal clear messages that inform and assist in the navigation of our evolving consciousness. This series of seminar classes will explore the 22 ‘major’ cards incorporating guided journeying to facilitate connecting with the archetypes on a deep level. The class is being taught by artist, witch, and teacher Alison Skelton. Alison began reading and studying the Tarot almost 40 years ago, and has found that as life has unfolded and awareness has expanded, that her understanding of the Tarot archetypes has expanded along with consciousness. She has been teaching the tarot since 1992.
